  • Admissions

As part of the Juniper Learning Academy Trust, the Trust serves as our admissions authority for Years 1 to 6, though we continue to collaborate closely with Junipershire County Council Admissions, who manage a waiting list of pupils hoping to join the school. If you are interested in securing a place for your child—whether for a future Reception class or an in-year transfer—please contact Junipershire Admissions at 01733 000000 or email admissions@junipershire.gov.uk

    Reception

Reception places are administered by Junipershire County Council, and full details of the admissions process, including the criteria, can be found in their admissions handbook, which is available on their website (link below).

    In-year admissions

For in-year admissions, where a pupil is transferring from another school, we will first speak with interested parents to confirm if there is a space available in the required year group. If a space is available, we will consult with Junipershire Admissions to determine if there are any pupils on the waiting list for that year group. Depending on this, we may be able to offer the place directly.

For prospective parents wishing to visit the school, we would be delighted to arrange a tour. Please contact the school office to schedule a date and time for the Headteacher or a member of the Leadership Team to show you around.

    Expansion of Reception Classes:

In September 2023, at the request of Junipershire County Council, Juniper Woodland Primary School, expanded to accommodate an additional Reception class, moving from a 2-form entry to a 3-form entry. We plan to add further Reception classes in September 2024 and September 2025, with the goal of becoming a full 3-form entry school by September 2026.

If you have any further questions regarding school admissions, the school office will be happy to assist you.
